Gwinnett County has long been considered a great place to live, work and play. The quality of life that Gwinnett residents enjoy is second-to-none. Gwinnett residents enjoy great schools, parks, libraries, roads, water system, county government and superb public safety agencies.
Today Gwinnett County boasts a crime rate that has been declining for the last two decades, a world class and nationally accredited police force that is a leader in providing professional police services, a very diverse population that is approaching nearly 1,000,000 residents, and a thriving economic and business climate.
With support from the Gwinnett Police Foundation and its business, civic and philanthropic partners, the Gwinnett County Police Department has developed a public safety strategy that is committed to increasing the size of its police force, developing its leaders for the future, engaging with the community to establish trusting relationships, and utilizing technology to increase its effectiveness in providing police services to the community.
Gwinnett residents are served by a committed group of law enforcement professionals that put their lives on the line for their community each and every day. The Gwinnett community has long supported its police force and the challenge before us today is to continue to provide support for the brave men and women of the Gwinnett County Police Department.
These planned events developed by the Gwinnett Police Foundation support programs and provide an opportunity for outreach and support from our corporate sponsors.
